Material

Seal performance is highly dependent on the sealing lip material and structural design. CHO has invested extensive engineering resources into material development and validation to ensure long service life and stable performance.
The Centurion Wheel Seal is available in two primary elastomer options: Nitrile Rubber (NBR) and Hydrogenated Nitrile Rubber (HNBR). While both materials are widely used in industrial sealing applications, HNBR provides enhanced performance characteristics, including:
1. Higher thermal resistance, resulting in improved resistance to aging
2. Superior wear resistance, extending sealing lip service life
